Combustible Dust Awareness - Canada
Combustible dust hazards exist in a wide variety of industries: grain handling, food processing, plastics, wood and paper products, textiles, pharmaceuticals, and metal fabrication, among many others. In the last 3 years, over 16 workers have been killed and more than 85 seriously injured in combustible dust explosions.
Your first line of defense against a dust explosion is awareness. This safety video provides workers with a general awareness of how combustible dust explosions are caused and what they can do to recognize and mitigate possible hazards before it's too late.
